Meet the team


Hi I’m Paul and I along with my wife Jo, own The Added Extra.

My role consists of the day-to-day running of the company. Mainly the (boring) financial side while trusting my fabulous staff in their roles to ensure every event we do runs smoothly. Also creating new ideas that show initiative to keep us in front of our competitors.

My favourite part of the role is seeing how all of the staff come together in their individual roles creating events that in most cases will be the most special day in our customers lifetime. At the very least we will produce great photo opportunities as well as being the best party of the year!

You can find me in our Head Office and soon our showroom. I can also be found at night driving the vans delivering party items for hire!


Hi I’m Jo and I’m the Extensions Manager for The Added Extra.

My role mainly consists of answering emails after normal office hours and putting together / creating the children’s party packages.

During lockdown, luckily, with our sweet box deliveries me and Paul were kept very busy.

One of my favourite parts of the job is seeing the children’s faces when we deliver their items. It’s also fun finding out details and chatting about future wedding plans with our Bride and Grooms at the Wedding Fayres.

You will find me either at our Showroom getting creative or working from home! Once we are out of this pandemic you will also find me back at the Wedding Fayres helping you plan your special day.


Hi I’m Zoe and I am the Operations Manager for The Added Extra.

My main role consists of overseeing all the bookings, from the initial enquiry stage to the big event. I liase with couples and their venues to make sure everything goes perfectly.

My favourite part of the role is getting to know all our lovely couples and being involved in their excitement for their big day, especially when they hire our selfie mirror and I get to meet them face to face.

You’ll find me on the other end of the phone or on email and I am based at our office in Congleton.


Hi, I am Joella. I am the Marketing & Social Media Manager for the Added Extra.

My job mainly consists of running all of our online platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest, creating posts, online networking and identifying future trends.

My favourite part of the role is; visiting and connecting with venues, helping to create new marketing campaigns, design new products and getting creative.

I also really enjoy building relationships with other suppliers and taking part in photo shoots!

You’ll find me on the other end of our social media platforms or in the office which is in Congleton town centre!


Hi I’m Jase and I am the Maintenance Manager for The Added Extra.

My role mainly consists of maintaining all letters and props to make sure they are to the highest spec ready for delivery to the venues and to add that ‘added extra’ to the customers special day.

My favourite part of the role is seeing the customers faces when we arrive with the products as I get to help with the deliveries too, and seeing how blown away they are makes all the hard work worth it.

You can find me in the warehouse covered in paint making sure your special day is all that you wished for!
